The expenses of putting on the picnic have increased dramatically in the past few years. When all is said and done, it costs between $30,000 and $40,000 to put on this event.
For the first time, we are actively asking for help from individuals and sponsors to keep the picnic going. Every dollar collected to defray our costs helps us raise more money to donate to The Janet Pomeroy Center and The Potrero Hill Neighborhood House.
You can help in person at the picnic by using the buckets located at the entrance and the Jimmy's Old Picnic official booth.
